     Dynamic Relic Hunter

The Conquistador conquers any
so-called  Relic Detector

"Someone finally built a machine that finds relics by the bucket-load!  I gotta tell you, I am obsessed with the Civil War, and my relic chest has never looked better since I started using the Conquistador.  If you're anything like I used to be, you're probably happy to bring home a decent button, Enfield bullet, or a knapsack hook.  Since I bought this machine, I've set my standards higher.  I won't go home until I've dug at least five buttons.  It gets better than that though!  My friend and I recently dug a total of 28 US belt plates along with two sword belt plates using this detector in an area we've hunted for years.  Unfortunately, a few of these plates were  heavily corroded since they sat in the groundwater so long (not surprising out of 16" deep holes).  Of the ones I've cleaned, though, most have washed up real nice.
Speaking of which
...My only problem now is that I've got a huge box of dirty finds that I don't have the time to clean since I'm too busy digging up as many killer relics as daylight will allow.  Gotta love it!

Conquistador µMax

The Conquistador joined the Tesoro lineup only recently, but has already made quite an impression.  It was the first Tesoro detector to have a frequency shifter. Both relic hunters and competition hunters immediately fell in love with the unit. The detector's versatility proved to be the match for some of the toughest conditions in the world.

The Conquistador µMax is a direct replacement for the Conquistador using Tesoro's latest technology to make the original a little better.  First, they used their latest microprocessor controlled PCB.  The microprocessor controls the audio tone, frequency shift and the battery test for the Conquistador µMax.  The mode switch has been changed to include the switchable battery test.  Tesoro also added a VCO all metal pinpointing feature.  The most noticeable change is that the Frequency shift switch has been moved up to the front of the faceplate.  The "trigger switch" on the original Conquistador was great if you were right handed, but lefties had a bit of a problem with the placement.  The Conquistador comes with a standard 9x8 coil.
